Project Description
This PTS-11WN347 work covers the construction of a new indoor type 380/132/33/13.8KV GIS substation named as MADAIN 380/132/33/13.8KV BSP including complete protection, metering, control, communication, and SCADA equipment. The project aims to interconnect AL-ULLA network with Western North Area (WNA) 380 kV Network.
IEC 61850 Standards
The new Substation is equipped with Substation Automation System (SAS) and will be remotely controlled from the Power Control Centre (PCC) through SCADA system, communication System and gateway. The monitoring Control and Protection system is IEC 61850 Standard based.
The project includes construction of Double circuit 380kV MADAIN – DHUBA Transmission lines along with required modification at the associated 132kV S/S. The two (2) 132 Lines between ALWAJH & ALULLA shall be Looped IN & OUT at MADAIN BSP along with required modifications at the associated S/S.
