Project Description
This PTS-13WN369 work covers the construction of a new indoor 380/110/13.8kV Gas Insulated Substation, named as AL-WAHA (WHA) 380/110/13.8kV BSP. The project includes state-of-the-art protection, control, communication and SAS/SCADA systems.
IEC 61850 Standards
The BSP is equipped with IEC 61850 standards-based Substation Automation System (SAS) and is remotely controlled from the COMPANY Power Control Centre (PCC) through SCADA and Communication systems.
This Project aims at building WHA BSP and interconnecting it with the WOA Network to provide the required power supply. The integration works include 380kV OHTLs connecting NEW WHA BSP to ADL, SHBIWPP & HHR-2 380kV BSPs, along with underground cables to JAM, KND & HVP. The substation is classified as a Class-I facility.
